<ul>
<li>Chick peas &#8211; 1 cup </li>
<li>mustard seeds &#8211; 1 pinch</li>
<li>black gram dhall &#8211; 1 tsp</li>
<li>red chill &#8211; 2 to 3 ( according to taste)</li>
<li>curry leaves &#8211; 5 to 6</li>
<li>grated coconut &#8211; 3 tsp</li>
<li>oil &#8211; 2 tsp</li>
<li>salt as per taste</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Method</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Soak the peas overnight and pressure cook it with salt and&nbsp;allow it to cool.</li>
<li>In a kadai, add oil, mustard seeds, black gram dhall, curry leaves, red chilli and fry it.</li>
<li>Add the boiled peas and grated coconut and cook for another 3 minutes.</li>
<li>Serve hot.</li>

<p><b>Ingredients</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Chick peas &#8211; 2 cups (soak overnight)</li>
<li>Onion &#8211; 2 </li>
<li>tomato &#8211; 2</li>
<li>Ginger garlic paste &#8211; 1/2 tsp</li>
<li>Cumin powder &#8211; 1/2 tsp</li>
<li>Chilli powder &#8211; 1 tsp</li>
<li>Channa&nbsp;masala powder- 1 tsp </li>
<li>Yogurt/curd &#8211; 1/4 cup</li>
<li>Tamarind juice &#8211; 2 tsp</li>
<li>Oil &#8211; 5 tsp</li>
<li>Salt as per taste</li>
<li>Lemon juice &#8211; 1/2 tsp</li>
<li>Coriander leaves for garnishing</li>
<li>1 onion &#8211; for garnishing</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Method</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Boil the soaked peas with little salt for 2 whistles and let it cool.</li>
<li>Meanwhile, make nice paste with Onion, tomato and ginger garlic paste.</li>
<li>Take a Kadai or pan, pour&nbsp;oil and paste and allow it to boil till the oil comes out. </li>
<li>Now add the powders, salt, yogurt and tamarind juice(if you want more soar) and while it starts boiling, add the chick peas and boil for another 2 minutes and switch off the stove.</li>
<li>Add the lemon juice and garnish with the onion and coriander leaves and serve hot.</li>
