Paneer cheese toast is an easy and tasty toast and i bet, you will definitely ask for more. It is so cheesy as well as spicy and you will fall in love with this combo for sure.

Ingredients For masala
  • Paneer – 3/4 cups
  • Cumin – 1/2 tsp
  • Green chilli – 1
  • Onion – 1 med size
  • Tomato – 1 med size
  • Ginger – 1/4 tsp
  • Garlic – 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala- 1/4 tsp
  • Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp adjust as per your spice level
  • Turmeric – less than 1/4 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
For bread toast
  • Bread – 4 slices
  • Butter – as needed
  • Chilli flakes- little
Optional ingredients
  • Coriander leaves- little
  • Italian herbs – little
Method to prepare Paneer Cheese Toast
  1. In a pan, add oil or butter. Butter gives more taste. But here I have used the oil only.
  2. Add in cumin seeds and green chilli.
  3. Fry them for a min. Take finely chopped onions and saute them nicely.
  4. Also add the ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell of ginger garlic paste goes off.
  5. Now add the chopped tomatoes and cook untill it is soft.
  6. Add the turmeric, chilli powder, and salt and mix them.
  7. Now add the crumbled panner and mix them well.
  8. you like, add in some garam masala and kasoori methi.
  9. Again mix them nicely.
  10. If you want, add some italian herbs or coriander leaves. I didnt add here.
Toast the bread
  1. Take some butter and spread it on tawa.
  2. Place the bread and slightly toast them in the butter keeping the flame low or you can switch off also.
  3. Apply some paneer masala and spread them.
  4. Once spread nicely, add in some cheese. I have taken the mozerella cheese.
  5. Sprinkle some chilli flakes or green chilli.
  6. Cook and toast, until the cheese melts nicely.
  7. Super yummy paneer bread toast is ready.
  8. Serve it in a plate with chilli sauce.
