<p>I recently had the chance to taste this <b><i><span style="color: #990000;">Cucumber Lassi</span></i></b> or <b><i><span style="color: #990000;">Namkeen Kheera Lassi</span></i></b> in my friend&#8217;s son bday party. They served the North Indian Food and in that, this is one of the item which I liked most. It is so cooling and refreshing and I had 2 full glasses.. he he he. Cucumber is always my favorite in hot summer days and this one has come into my favorite list. I am not sure whether there is sweet version of this lassi, as I tried only the Salted version of <b><i><span style="color: #990000;">Cucumber Lassi</span></i></b>.</p>

The yogurt sweetened with honey is used while performing religious rituals.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lassis are enjoyed chilled as a hot-weather refreshment, mostly taken with lunch. With a little turmeric&nbsp;powder mixed in, it is also used as a folk remedy&nbsp;for </span><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastroenteritis" style="text-align: justify;" title="Gastroenteritis">gastroenteritis</a><span style="text-align: justify;">. Strawberry fruit is very low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. It is also a good source of folate and potassium, and a very good source of dietary fiber, and manganese</span><span style="font-size: 16.363636016845703px; text-align: justify;">.</span><span style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;One serving of about eight strawberries provides more vitamin C than an orange. <li>Yogurt/Curd &#8211; 2 cups</li>
<li>Water &#8211; 1 cup</li>
<li>Milk &#8211; 1/2 cup</li>
<li>Sugar/Honey &#8211; 1/2 cup</li>
<li>Ice cubes &#8211; as required</li>

<p><b>Method</b><br />Chop the strawberries into half. Add the strawberries, yogurt, water, milk and sugar into the blender or mixie/food processor and blend to a smooth texture. Filter the sediments and pour into serving glass and serve with the ice cubes.</p>
