Ingredients

  • Watermelon - 1 bowl
  • Mint leaf - handful
  • Lemon juice - from 1/2 lemon
  • Honey - 4 to 5 tsp or adjust as per your sweetness level
  • Black salt - a pinch optional, but fives a very unique taste

Instructions

  • Add One bowl of watermelon into the food processor or a mixer grinder.
  • To this and a handful of fresh mint leaves.
  • Now squeeze half a lemon juice to the watermelon.
  • If you want to add sugar you can add now. I have added the honey. You can also add in palm sugar or dates for a healthier choice. Adjust the honey or the sugar as per your sweet level.
  • Grind the ingredients nicely to make them into juice form. If you find any tiny bits of watermelon or the mint leaf you can really well filter them using a strainer.
  • Fill the Watermelon mint juice to the ice popsicle molds and until it is 90% filled up.
  • Now close the lids of the ice popsicle molds and freeze them for about 6 to 8 hours or overnight.
  • The next day or after 8 hours remove the Popsicles from the freezer amd dip them in water for 5 sec or show the mould in running tap water for 5 sec.
  • Slowly remove them from the mould and your tasty watermelon popsicle is ready to be eaten.
