  • Potatoes – 2 medium sized
  • water – 1 or 2 cup
  • Oil - 2 to 3 tbsp
  • mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
  • urud dal – 1/2 tsp
  • cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
  • fennel seeds – 1/4 tsp
  • curry leaves – 2 springs
  • chilli powder – 1/4 tsp
  • turmeric powder – little
  • coriander powder – 1/4 tsp
  • salt as per taste
