Do not over cook as it may become soggy and break when added to the white sauce.  You can also use any variety of pasta for this.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-5243-step-0-2" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Once it is 90% cooked, filter water completely and keep aside.</div></li></ul></div><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-group"><h4 class="wprm-recipe-group-name wprm-recipe-instruction-group-name wprm-block-text-bold">Prepare the white sauce</h4><ul class="wprm-recipe-instructions"><li id="wprm-recipe-5243-step-1-0" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">In another pan, add butter and allow to melt completely.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-5243-step-1-1" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Make the flame low, and add the all purpose flour / maida to this. Mix it thoroughly in butter. It gets thickened.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-5243-step-1-2" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Once it gets thickened, add the milk and start to stir it continuously, so that no lumps are formed.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-5243-step-1-3" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">You can see that, the mixture gets thickened nicely. This is our white sauce. Keep it aside.</div></li></ul></div><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-group"><h4 class="wprm-recipe-group-name wprm-recipe-instruction-group-name wprm-block-text-bold">Cook the veggies</h4><ul class="wprm-recipe-instructions"><li id="wprm-recipe-5243-step-2-0" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Now we need to cook the vegetables. <p>In a big pan, add enough water to cook pasta and add salt as required and oil. </p>

<p>To this add macroni pasta and cook until 90% only. Do not over cook as it may become soggy and break when added to the white sauce.  You can also use any variety of pasta for this.</p>

<p>Make the flame low, and add the all purpose flour / maida to this. Mix it thoroughly in butter. It gets thickened.  </p>

<p>Mixture starts to thicken again. If the mixture becomes too thick, add 1/4 cup of milk. Now add the cooked pasta and mix well.</p>

<p>When you&#8217;re making this, with the red bell peppers the recipe will not be that much tangy. But in this recipe I want the tanginess to be more so I didnt add the red bell peppers. I used only the tomatoes for making this pasta in red sauce recipe. So it is purely your wish to add the bell peppers or not. If you like non-vegetarian, then you can make the same dish adding chicken or prawns and make delicious dish.</p>

If you want you can cook the tomatoes separately for about 10 to 12 minutes or until it is cooked Softly. I’m doing this just to save the time. So cook the pasta for about 10 minutes or until the pasta is cooked.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-2737-step-0-4" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Check know whether the pasta and the tomatoes or cooked softly. To check the pasta just take a small piece of it and crush it with your hand. If you can able to crush it easily then the pasta is cooked. To check if tomatoes are cooked, you can see the tomato skin peel off easily.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-2737-step-0-5" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Remove the tomatoes and let it cool down. <p>As my kids started asking for different pastas, I am trying different pasta recipes now a days and you can see more and more pasta recipes in coming days.</p>
<p>This cheesy tomato pasta india style recipe you can make in both spicy version and non spicy version just by reducing the number of chillies and adding cream or milk to the pasta. Avoid milk and increase chillies to make a spicier version.</p>

<li>Olive oil &#8211; 1 tbsp</li>
<li>Garlic cloves &#8211; 6, chopped finely</li>
<li>Oregano &#8211; little</li>
<li>Mixed herbs &#8211; little</li>
<li>Salt &#8211; 1/2 tsp</li>
<li>Sugar &#8211; 1 tsp</li>
<li>Milk or cream &#8211; 1/4 cup</li>
<li>Pasta cheese &#8211; 5 to 6 tbsp</li>
<li>Parsley &#8211; little, chopped</li>

<h5>Method to prepare Cheesy Tomato Pasta Indian Style</h5>
<p><strong>To cook pasta</strong></p>
<p>Cook the pasta as per the instructions in the packet.</p>
<p>( or )</p>
<p>In a large pan add enough water. When the water started to boil add salt and pasta.</p>

<p>Cover and cook the pasta. Once the pasta is cooked, filter the water and keep it aside.</p>

<p>Now when the pasta is cooking you can prepare the tomato sauce meanwhile. In a food processor add dried red chilies and tomato and make a smooth paste by adding a little water. Keep this tomato sauce aside.</p>

<p>Now in a heavy bottom pan add olive oil. Once oil is hot add the chopped garlic cloves and also the herbs.</p>

<p>Let the tomato sauce cook well. Add Sugar and salt and mix them nicely.</p>

<p>1. If you don&#8217;t get pasta cheese, you can use normal cheese too.</p>
<p>2. I love oregano flavour, so I have added them separately also. You can just add mixed herbs alone, as it also contains oregano.</p>
<p>3. Try to add cream, as it gives silky creamy texture for the pasta. As I don&#8217;t have cream that time, I added milk instead. If adding milk, try to add full cream milk.</p>
<p>4. Do not reduce the cheese quantity, as it give great taste to this pasta recipe. If you want, you can.add more also.</p>
<p>5. Try to eat this pasta when it is hot, as it tastes great when taken hot.</p>

This spaghetti aglio olio I tasted after coming to singapore only and I just fell in love with it at the first taste itself. After I come to know the recipe of this, I was so surprised that it needs very little ingredients yet the tastes is so so awesome.</p>

<p>1. Cook pasta as per the instructions or add enough water, oil and salt and add the pasta.</p>

<p>2. When mustard seeds splutters, Add the cumin seeds and fennel seeds and fry them for a minute. do not over fry them.</p>

<p>1. Instead of tomato, you can puree the tomatoes and add them.</p>
<p>2 . Adding Tomato sauce is optional but it&#8217;s gives great taste. If you want more spicy, you can add a tbsp of chilli sauce also.</p>
<p>3. You can also add a 1 tsp of sugar if don&#8217;t add tomato sauce. Adding sugar also gives a great taste.</p>
<p>4. Adding parmesan cheese gives a nice taste a s kids would love them.</p>
<p>5. Instead of Olive oil, you can also add butter to the veggies. But Olive oil is good for health and try to use them for pasta dishes.</p>
