Kerala Style Pomfret Fry
Pomfret fry kerala style recipe with easy step by step pictures for your easy understanding and learning.
Nowadays I want to try the fish fry recipes with different styles. Think I got bored of eating the same taste… So I tried this Pomfret Fry in Kerala style and got the basic recipe from here.
Traditionally this recipe is done with Kodumpuli, but as I dont have kodumpuli substituted it with lemon juice as adviced by my keralite friend to suit our taste. Though I miss the authentic taste of this recipe, but still I loved the fry very much. Also I have planned to prepare this recipe again with the kodumpuli. So If you have kodumpuli, then do try this recipe with that and enjoy the delicious fry.
She also said, kodumpuli is added, to reduce the cholesterol and good for health and they call it as Fish Tamarind. I should try the recipe with Kudumpuli one more time. So try this Kerala style Pomfret fry and enjoy the day… I also have another version of Pomfret fry, which I tried from a cook book. To try other fish recipes from this blog click here.
