Also add the cinnamon powder to this and the lemon juice. </span></div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-5014-step-0-2" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;"><span style="display: block;">Saute the apple for 3 to 4 min in low to med flame and cook nicely. The sugar gets melted and begin to caramelize and also the apple should be cooked for 70 to 75 % only. Transfer to a bowl and let it cool down.</span></div></li></ul></div><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-group"><h4 class="wprm-recipe-group-name wprm-recipe-instruction-group-name wprm-block-text-bold">Prepare the sugar cinnamon mixture</h4><ul class="wprm-recipe-instructions"><li id="wprm-recipe-5014-step-1-0" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Now in anther Bowl, add sugar and cinnamon powder and mix well.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-5014-step-1-1" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Keep this aside.</div></li></ul></div><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-group"><h4 class="wprm-recipe-group-name wprm-recipe-instruction-group-name wprm-block-text-bold">Prepare the Bread rolls</h4><ul class="wprm-recipe-instructions"><li id="wprm-recipe-5014-step-2-0" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;"><span style="display: block;">You can use sandwich or milk bread for these rolls. Remove the sides of the bread.</span></div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-5014-step-2-1" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Using a rolling pin, flatten the bread slices nicely.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-5014-step-2-2" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;"><span style="display: block;">To this spread the butter nicely. You can use either salted or unsalted butter for this. </span></div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-5014-step-2-3" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Sprinkle little sugar cinnamon mixture on this. Add 1 to 2 tsp full of apple mixture near one side of the bread as shown.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-5014-step-2-4" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Now carefully roll the bread tightly so that the apple mixture does not come outside.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-5014-step-2-5" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Seal the edges tightly. <p>Peel off the apple skin and cut into small pieces. Add these to a pan. </p>

<p>To this add 1 to 2 tbsp of sugar according to the sweetness of the apple. Also add the cinnamon powder to this and the lemon juice. lemon juice gives light tangy taste to the dish and also it avoids the darkening of the apple.  If you plan to eat the rolls immediately and also you do not like the tangy taste, then you can avoid the lemon juice. But I personally prefer adding them. Also If you are health conscious and want to avoid the white sugar, you can substitute the white sugar with palm sugar  or organic brown sugar or country sugar. </p>

<p>Saute the apple for 3 to 4 min in low to med flame and cook nicely. The sugar gets melted and begin to caramelize and also the apple should be cooked for 70 to 75 % only and it should retain its crunchiness a bit, so that, while eating, it gives a nice crunchy taste.  Transfer to a bowl and let it cool down.</p>

<p>You can use sandwich or milk bread for these rolls. Sandwich bread would be bigger in size. But both bread gives a good taste to this recipe. Remove the sides of the bread.</p>

<p>Sprinkle some of sugar cinnamon mixture on top of the bread rolls before serving. You can also pour little honey or maple syrup if you are sweet toothed.  </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to make Bread
Kulfi</h2>



<p>There are many
variations of kulfi and I can say that, this is the easiest and quick
method of making the kufli, with just bread.</p>



<p>If you want to make
kulfi and you are out of khoya, then do make this kulfi with the
bread. The Bread is powdered well, and when added to the milk, gives
the correct thickness to make the kulfi and it just tastes the same
as that of the malai kulfi. 
</p>



<p>You can either use, <strong>white bread or wheat bread or milk bread</strong> for making this kulfi, but I recommend to use the milk bread, as it gives richer taste to the kulfi.</p>



<p>I already have <a href="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/kulfi-ice-cream-using-khoya-how-to-make-kufli-ice-cream/">kulfi using khoya</a> which is also a tasty kulfi recipe, which you can try out this summer. <p>For this kulfi, you
do not need to add any thickeners like corn flour, and so it is
healthy by choice.</p>

<p>Now take the bread slices. You can use wheat bread or white bread. But i recommend you to use the milk bread, as it gives richer taste to the kulfi.</p>

<p>Remove the sides of the bread and cut them in to pieces.</p>

<p>Add these pieces to a food processor and grind to a fine powder.</p>

<p>In a pan, add the milk and the saffron and allow to boil.</p>

<p>Add the condensed milk now.</p>

<p>Take the coarse powder of nuts and add them.</p>

<p>Again boil for about 5 minutes in medium flame. The nuts need to cook well. Add the fine bread powder little by little so that, it does not form any lumps. </p>

<p>Once you have added the bread powder, you should not stop stirring the mixture, as it may get burnt at the bottom soon.  </p>

<p>After about 3 mitutes, add the ragi malt which gives a nice flavor. This is purely optional step.</p>

<p>If you want you can add the cardamom powder. Also add vanilla essence if you need.</p>

<p>Allow the mixture to cook for about 3 to 5 minutes.</p>

<p>By this time, the milk consistency would have changed to a thick.</p>

<p>Now switch off the flame and allow to cool down completely.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Fill the moulds </h3>



<p>Once it is fully cooled down, take the kulfi mould and fill it the mould with the bread milk mixture. If you dont have moulds, then use normal tumblers too.</p>

<p>After filling the mould, slightly tap them to make it level correctly. Now insert the sticks to all the kulfi and freeze it overnight or for about 8 to 10 hours in freezer. </p>

<p>The next day or after about 8 hrs , remove the kulfi, by slightly dipping in warm water or show them under running tap water.</p>

<p>This Fried Egg Sandwich recipe is our family favourite and I used to prepare this when my kids ask me to give some snack in evening time. This sandwich is not only easy, but also healthy dish as it has egg as well as more veggies stuffed. If you like to give cheese, you can include a cheese slice.</p>
<p>Also instead of bread you can use the burger breads and also use wheat bread and make it even more healthier. The choices of veggies is completely optional. This sandwich can also be taken as a breakfast or even in dinner and it really makes you feel full.</p>

Sometimes with the whole bread and sometimes with the sides cut. I mostly bake the bread sides to make <b><a href="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/2011/03/home-made-breadcrumbs-how-to-make-home-made-breadcrumbs.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">bread crumbs</a>.</b> But I had enough bread crumps at home and I don&#8217;t want to throw them away. When checked in net could not find best recipes using the bread sides. So I created my own recipe of this <b><i><span style="color: #990000;">pizza cups</span></i></b> using the leftover bread sides. The cups were not so crunchy, but it tasted good. If you have any idea to make it more crunchier please drop your comments so I can try it the next time.</p>

<div><b>Method to prepare Pizza cups using leftover bread sides</b></div>

<p>1. Collect the leftover bread sides and grind to a powder form.</p>

<p>2. To this add salt, sugar and milk little by little and make it to a pliable dough.</p>

<p>3. Take small portion from the dough and make a cup using the muffin moulds. Let it sit for 10 minutes.</p>

<p>4. Meanwhile chop your veggies required for the pizza. I used tomato, onion, capsicum. Spray little oil on the cups and add the chopped veggies, pizza sauce or tomato sauce, mozerella cheese, green chilli. Bake it in the convection oven for 10 to 12 minutes in 170 degree Celsius or till the sides become crispier.</p>
