<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to make Mushroom Pepper Fry</h2>

<p>This <strong>mushroom pepper fry</strong> can be make in just 10 minutes and can be used in making the wraps or rolls with chappathi or roti. If you are giving to kids, reduce the amount of pepper. </p>

<p>In this fry the the onion as well as the capsicum needs to be cooked 75% only so that they can retain the crunchiness when the recipe is done. </p>

<p>Here I have also added the red chillies as well as the green chillies, which also increases the spiciness of this dish. If you feel, more spiciness, then you can avoid the green chillies. </p>

<p>If you like this recipe, then do have a look at the other pepper flavored recipes below.</p>

<p>and add the curry leaves.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom3-1024x1024.jpg" alt="Mushroom" class="wp-image-4889" srcset="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom3.jpg 1024w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom3-500x500.jpg 500w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom3-200x200.jpg 200w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom3-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom3-1536x1536.jpg 1536w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom3-2048x2048.jpg 2048w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom3-100x100.jpg 100w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Fry them till the lentils becomes light brown. (fry for about 1 to 2 min in low to med flame). Now add the onion and the chopped capsicum. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom4-1024x1024.jpg" alt="Mushroom" class="wp-image-4890" srcset="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom4.jpg 1024w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom4-500x500.jpg 500w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom4-200x200.jpg 200w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom4-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom4-1536x1536.jpg 1536w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom4-2048x2048.jpg 2048w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom4-100x100.jpg 100w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Add the required salt and saute the onions and capsicum till they are 75% cooked. Do not over cook them, as they need to retain their crunchiness till the end.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom5-1024x1024.jpg" alt="Mushroom" class="wp-image-4891" srcset="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom5.jpg 1024w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom5-500x500.jpg 500w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom5-200x200.jpg 200w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom5-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom5-1536x1536.jpg 1536w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom5-2048x2048.jpg 2048w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom5-100x100.jpg 100w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Give a stir.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom6-1024x1024.jpg" alt="Mushroom" class="wp-image-4892" srcset="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom6.jpg 1024w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom6-500x500.jpg 500w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom6-200x200.jpg 200w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom6-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom6-1536x1536.jpg 1536w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom6-2048x2048.jpg 2048w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom6-100x100.jpg 100w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Include the washed and chopped mushrooms now along with the green chilli. If you feel the spiciness is more, then you can avoid the green chilli. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom7-1024x1024.jpg" alt="Mushroom" class="wp-image-4893" srcset="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom7.jpg 1024w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom7-500x500.jpg 500w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom7-200x200.jpg 200w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom7-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom7-1536x1536.jpg 1536w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom7-2048x2048.jpg 2048w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom7-100x100.jpg 100w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Cook the mushrooms just for 3 to 4 min. Mushroom gets cooked easily and also no need to add any water. The water content in mushroom is enough to cook the vegetable.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom8-1024x1024.jpg" alt="Mushroom" class="wp-image-4894" srcset="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom8.jpg 1024w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom8-500x500.jpg 500w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom8-200x200.jpg 200w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom8-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom8-1536x1536.jpg 1536w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom8-2048x2048.jpg 2048w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom8-100x100.jpg 100w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>So after about 3 min, add the freshly ground pepper and give a stir.</p>

<p>Just cook for another 1 minute and switch off the stove.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom10-1024x1024.jpg" alt="Mushroom pepper fry" class="wp-image-4896" srcset="https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom10.jpg 1024w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom10-500x500.jpg 500w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom10-200x200.jpg 200w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom10-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom10-1536x1536.jpg 1536w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom10-2048x2048.jpg 2048w, https://www.akilaskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Mushroom10-100x100.jpg 100w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>
